Mr. Griffin is the President and General Manager of Griffin Enterprises, Inc. operating as Downtown Marina of Beaufort. At the time he left Clemson and joined the business in 1974, it was his father’s business. He is the current owner and operates it with his wife and several full-time and part-time employees.
Favorite Clemson Basketball Moment: Pounding UNC in Littlejohn two years ago.
Favorite Clemson Athlete: No single one. I would most favor all former athletes that have given back with their time and financial support to help educate our current athletes and carry on the rich athletic traditions at Clemson.
Why give to IPTAY: In my position on the IPTAY board, I see firsthand the good works of the program. From providing athletic scholarships to contributing to new and upgraded facilities, IPTAY’s hand can be seen and felt all over campus. Helping students who may otherwise not be able to attend college and providing the best facilities for them to learn as well as compete, while at the same time helping to maintain Clemson’s national prominence in academics and athletics is why I give.
Thank you Mr. Griffin and all IPTAY donors for all that you do for IPTAY and Clemson Athletics.
