The Solid Orange Squad Newspaper Staff is excited to announce the publication of the seventh edition of the Be a T.I.G.E.R! Newspaper. Lisa Girard, along with her staff of seven other student-athletes, has been working for months illustrating, writing, and organizing the newspaper. This year’s edition is called “Where the Tigers Are” in honor of the 50th anniversary of the first publication of “Where the Wild Things Are”. This year’s newspaper tells the story of Tommy The Tiger’s journey of learning the five “Be a T.I.G.E.R!” character traits. Not only does the newspaper have a fascinating story for kids to read, but is also full of athlete interviews, interactive games, pictures to color, and nutrition tips.
